Figueroa Hangs On/Sacramento Union/August 1980


A familiar story in the minor leagues involves the aging former major leaguer hanging on for one last shot at the big time. The Ed Figueroa story was different, in that he was a 20-game winner for the World Series winning New York Yankees just a few years before, and I remember him being incredibly frank in this interview.
